Cropping an Image
- Select the image that needs to cropped. You can select an image on the Canvas by simply clicking it. This in turn will display the resize and rotation handles.
- Go to the Image Menu and click Start Crop to switch to the crop mode*.
- When switched into the crop mode, you'll be provided with a resizeable and moveable crop rectangle as shown below*.
- After positioning the crop rectangle appropriately, go to the Image Menu and click Crop It! The image will be cropped and you'll be switched off from the crop mode*.
- To cancel from the crop mode, you can click Cancel Crop from the same Image Menu.
Alternatively, you can initiate the cropping by selecting the image and then right-clicking anywhere on the Canvas to open the Context Menu to click Start Crop like as shown below.
It is important to note that all the other functionalities of the Image Editor will not be available for use while in the crop mode and the cropping feature is available for Image type object only.
