Inserting Text

1. Go to the Insert menu. 
2. Click on Text...
3. The Insert Text Dialog with various options will be displayed. The dialog looks very similar to the Insert Text Dialog in typical Image Editors or Word Processing Applications. 
4. Specify the attributes like the Font Family, Font Size and Text Decorations[Bold, Italics or Underline] if any.
5. Also input the Text that needs to be generated. It is important to note that you can input Multi-Line text as well.
6. Finally hit Insert. In the absence of a valid Text, the Insert button will cease to work.

You can dismiss the Insert Text Dialog by either clicking the Close button or the X from the Title Bar of the same dialog.

Alternatively, you can right-click anywhere on the Canvas to open the Context Menu and then click on Insert Text like as shown below to open the same Insert Text Dialog.
